Revision of E103-17 Standard Practice for Rapid Indentation Hardness Testing of Metallic Materials
Rationale
E103 is up for its five-year reapproval, which provides an opportunity to ensure that its terminology is consistent with other E28.06 standards, especially E10, and that its text follows the ASTM form and style requirements. This work item will update the terminology section to create separate sections for Terms, i.e., those that appear in E6, the terminology standard, and Terms Specific to this Standard.
