Revision of C33/C33M-23 Standard Specification for Concrete Aggregates
Rationale
At some point, sections 7.2.2 and 7.2.3 were edited to remove the phrase “may be used” with the phrase “is not prohibited” for the sake of satisfying the form and style guide. However, this section could be reworded to make the intent clearer while satisfying form and style. Therefore, this ballot item proposes rewording sections 7.2.1, 7.2.2, and 7.2.3 to clarify that specific exceptions are allowed and to make these sections easier to understand. No changes to the intent of this section are being proposed – just making it easier to read.
